Book Signing and Demos in Gulfport FL

Madly Modern QuiltsBook Signing and Demos

I will be holding my first official book signing and modern quilting technique demos at FabricSmart –a wonderful local quilt shop located at 5401 Gulfport Blvd S, Gulfport FL 33707.  Phone: 727-914-8850.

The book signing will take place on Sunday, July 24th from 1 to 5 p.m.  At 2:30 p.m., I’ll conduct two demos related to projects in my book– improvisational curved blocks and improvisational piecing.

Karen, the owner, will be providing refreshments and some special discounts on notions and fabrics.  FabricSmart has many new modern fabrics in stock so please come by to check them out.

I want to thank FabricSmart’s owner, Karen, for being such a wonderful host for my book signing!

  1. Oh, sorry I’m going to miss the book signing. But I did buy your book from Fabric Smart the first week it came out. So pleased for you and great looking book. Catch up with you at another book signing.

    1. Hi Pat,

Thanks so much for your support. I’ll be at the shop teaching so if we don’t get together before then, perhaps we’ll do a lunch or dinner one day.

  2. Cheryl will be bringing me my copy later this week. I’m looking forward to holding it in my own two hands. Good luck with your sales and book signing.

    1. Hi Lisa,
the book signing was so much fun. I love FabricSmart–it’s now my favorite local quilt shop and I’m grateful for all their support and the chance to teach there. Enjoy the book and let me know if you make a project from it–or inspired by a pattern from the book.

  3. Hi Carole! It is Valorie here. I would really love to have an autographed copy of your book. Would that be possible? You can PM me on IG with more info. You have really been inspiring me!
