VIRTUAL WORKSHOP OVER ZOOM

This is a quilt created using only a few block sizes that will fit together easily.  The multilayered freehand cut curves make the quilt look very improvisational.  In the workshop, I will demonstrate how to cut and sew freehand multi-layered curved blocks–no templates or pinning involved. Then, we will combine these pieced blocks with blocks cut from the background fabric in a planned layout that looks completely improvised. We will also discuss using the background fabric in the blocks to create a floating effect with lots more negative space.

Demos will be recorded for use in future ondemand classes.  Participants are welcome to turn off their video camera while I am recording.
