I took on the challenge. I transformed a 36 x 32“ top made by a group in South Sarasota MQG. I cut the top into 8 inch squares, added some stash fabric and created two small crib quilts that will be donated to a mother’s charity. I think I will add orders on both of these quilts to make them just a bit larger.
It was really a lot of fun to take the chance and cut the piece into the smaller blocks. It was interesting when I started, and I think the transformation made the pieced blocks a bit more abstract.
