I have a very short list of favorite tools because I’m not a gadget person.
Let me start with the most important one. That would be my Janome 9450 that I talked about in my previous blog post on December 3!
Here’s the next important tool: My retractable Rotary Cutter. I bought 4 of these and threw away EVERY other rotary cutter that I owned after cutting my finger pretty badly on an open rotary cutter. It was a bad cut and I knew that I was not disciplined enough to always close my blade every time I put it down. Blame it on age…or impatience or whatever.
If I ruled the quilt world, all rotary cutters would be made with automatic retraction.
